  • You may access CFBEGA handicap data from any computer connected to the Internet, by connecting to the RCGA Network and entering your username and password. Click on: http://www.rcganetwork.org/App_Themes/RCGANetwork/index.html.

  •  Once you get there, instructions are provided to enter your profile, record your scores and perform all other functions associated with tracking your handicap. If you are connecting for the first time, your username will generally be FirstnameLastname (note capitals) and your password will be 123456. Once logged on the first thing you should do is change your username (optional) and your password (highly recommended)

  • If you require computer access, the association has one set up at the Naden Athletic Centre where you may access the RCGA Network. It is on the kiosk counter, right side. This website is the home page. It may be used anytime the centre is open. Simply click on "Enter Scores" to take you to the correct place.

  • Rounds may be entered by recording your strokes on every hole or by entering your total strokes (after adjustment) for the round.

    • When entering by hole, the program applies ESC automatically. Note that ESC is based on your course handicap, not your RCGA handicap factor. Your course handicap will vary from course to course, based on your handicap factor.

    • If  recording by total strokes, you must apply Equitable Stroke Control to your gross score to arrive at an adjusted score.

  • You may enter scores from courses all over Canada and the US using the RCGA site.

 WHEN YOUR COURSE HANDICAP IS

YOU MAY RECORD A MAX  OF

0 OR PLUS

1 OVER PAR PER HOLE

1 TO 18

2 OVER PAR PER HOLE

19 TO 32

3 OVER PAR PER HOLE

33 AND OVER

4 OVER PAR PER HOLE

  • To find your course handicap at a particular course, use your current handicap factor and apply it to the course's handicap chart, usually found in the pro shop.

  • Entering scores by hole gives the player a game history. The numbers of pars, birdies, eagles, holes in one are all recorded. If you want to see this information, record your rounds by hole. The RCGA Network gives you the ability to track details of your game if you so desire

  • As per the RCGA, your handicap is calculated using the best 10 of your last 20 rounds, and you will  generate a handicap after entering your first 5 rounds.

  • Members of the executive or staff at the kiosk are authorized to update your handicap cards. Simply take your card to the kiosk, or to an executive member. They will log into the RCGA Network and verify your handicap, then update and sign your card.
