The CFBEGA has three membership categories:

• 1. Regular Membership:

  • The following persons are eligible for Regular membership:

    • Members of Canada's Regular Force and their dependants.

    • Members of Canada's Reserve Force while on Class "B" or "C" Reserve Service and their dependants.

    • Foreign military personnel on exchange to CFB Esquimalt and their dependants.

• 2. Ordinary Membership:

  • The following persons are eligible for Ordinary membership:

    • Public servants, including term employees and civilian employees under FULL TIME CONTRACT to DND who are employed on the Base and their spouses, provided the employee is an Association member.

    • NPF employees under FULL TIME CONTRACT to DND, who are employed on the Base and their spouses, provided the NPF employee is an Association member.

    • Members of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires employed at CFB Esquimalt.

    • Former members of the Regular Force with a minimum of 20 years service in receipt of an annuity and their spouses, provided the former member or pensioner is an Association member.

• 3. Associate Membership:

  • The following persons are eligible for Associate membership:

    • Retired DND civilian employees, (no spouse, no dependants), with a minimum of 20 years accumulated service.

      • The following conditions apply:

        • Must show proof of service i.e. retirement certificate, government issued correspondence showing years of service, etc, etc;

        • Play limited to Mon through Thu only, however play permitted on Fri / Sat / Sun if there are passes still available at 1230 hrs one day prior;

        • Membership applications will be vetted by the CFBEGA executive for eligibility prior to the prospective associate member attending the kiosk to pay their membership fee and having their photo taken for the ID card i.e. the executive will vet/authorize, kiosk issues ID card and takes membership fee.

Membership fees for 2011/12 are as follows:

• Regular Members (military) - $35.00

• Ordinary Members (civilian) - $75.00

• Associate Members             -$100.00

• BCGA Membership (optional) $15.00 (includes membership, handicap card and access to the CFBEGA's online handicap system). You must be an Association member first.
